Hi, I believe there is now a MQTT auto discovery plugin available for domoticz. Any plan to include this in Smarticz? Or can we manually install? If we manually install, do we need to disable MQTT / broker?

I won't answer your question, most likely @isom will do
I looked into that auto-discovery part in domoticz and it basically says it's like in Home Assistant but those two have very different mechanisms of exchanging data through the MQTT.
I'm working right now on HA auto-discovery for AFE Firmware and I would love to "kill two birds with one stone" and make it as well for Domoticz but it doesn't seem to work in the same way.
Do you have some more materials, info related to Domoticz MQTT Discover?

@extremeaudio thx this is what I've already seen - but it's crap 😋 the wiki describes the MQTT API with Domoticz and says auto-discovery is beta based on HA. Nothing more. 🤣
People on the domoticz forum struggle as I see as well.
I'll play more with domoticz mqtt auto-discovery once I complete HA anyway.

@extremeaudio I have no plans to add this plugin to Smarticz.
The plugin works only with the beta version of domoticz, and Smarticz is a stable version
